Lisa Decatorsmith, L.Ac
Hi, I’m Lisa Decatorsmith and I look forward to meeting you and working with you. Not many people want to spend a ton of time reading websites these days, so I will “get to the point”! I’ve been in practice for over 20 years and I still absolutely love the practice of Chinese Medicine and acupuncture - it is an amazing and truly holistic way to improve or perhaps experience your health for the first time. Chinese medicine is really just a unique way of describing the way your body works. As such I can use its principles to treat almost any health condition you might face. Call me at 847-381-6400 to learn how I might help you.

Lisa Li, Founder & Owner
As a child who grew up Northeast of Beijing, I drank a lot of teas with my grandma. And those moments were some of the most nourishing and healing times of my life.
Holistic wellness for me as a child was much like brunch… it was simply a way of a joyful life.
After feeling stressed, anxious, and burnt out from working in the notoriously grueling fashion industry for 10+ years I desperately wanted to go back to a time and place where taking care of myself was simple and wonderful.

In the beginning of 2018 I took a transformative trip with my mom to Shangri-la, Yunnan where I discovered the Rose tea the locals enjoy. It was so unique and special - it was like nothing I've ever had, it transported me to a whole new floral paradise universe.
And after tasting and testing over 100 flowering herbs and tens of thousands miles more traveled to source the finest ones The Qi was born. To bring you the most beautiful sensory tea ritual for a daily dose of Zen, beauty, and nourishment.
I so hope you love and enjoy them as much as I do! And I hope they bring you much need daily moments of wonder and joy.

My friend, the bison
Message from Ninetta:
I don't eat a lot of red meat but when I need its nurtients, I turn to Northstar Bison for their bison and their delicious ready-made bison bone broth. I eat bison because as I was coming off a vegetarian lifestyle I meditated and asked for guidance as to who in the animal world would best serve me. "Bison" is what I heard. Every time I put a piece of that lovely being into my body I feel a grand connection with it and a mingling of energies. For me, it is a spiritual experience as I honor the sacrifice that this being made, fulfilling its destiny to nourish me. Aho!

And one thing about this company: their customer service is outstanding, and their packaging is second to none. I think most everything is shipped frozen and I've often said that you could place their package of goods on the surface of the sun and it still wouldn't thaw! That's how much care they put into their work!

Founded in 2000, Bee Hive Candles began on a tiny kitchen stove in our small home in the foothills of the Pacific Northwest. During the cold, rainy winter, we used handmade molds and melted small chunks of beeswax in old pots to create just a few candles at a time.

While we've grown a lot since those early days, we're still a small, family-run business fortunate enough to do what we love every day.
Today, all our candles are made by hand in a new workshop we built near our home in the Mt. Baker foothills in 2006. We use only 100% pure beeswax gathered right here in the USA.

From Ninetta: I've tried MANY beeswax candles from different companies, and am glad I found Bee Hive Candles. I mostly use their tea lights at my studio, but also use their tapers and pillars. They burn beautifully! Not the cheapest around, but well worth the investment!
